With Two Crows for Comfort and Jenessa Kehler & Steve Dueck.
Link and the Moustaches are a raw electric blues group hailing from Southern Manitoba. Their live show is foot stomping, high energy blues inspired from a variety of sources including Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Paul Butterfield, Canned Heat, Howlin’ Wolf, Jimmy Reed, and others. Link Neufeld leads the group with his blistering harp playing and vocals. Steve Dueck handles the guitar, and shares lead vocal duties. The rock-solid rhythm section features Scott Bell on bass and Gil Dudgeon on drums. Link and the Moustaches have a deep passion for the history of the blues and love to share their energy with the crowd.
MCMA’s 2021 Roots Duo/Group of the year, Two Crows for Comfort, are a touring folk-roots duo from the prairie wonderland of Manitoba. These wandering troubadours, accompanied by their pup, Elliot, travel across North America in an 18 foot camper, playing countless shows from coast to coast to coast. Whether it's a major festival or intimate house concert, Two Crows will have you whisked away to the coziness of your living room as they weave a warm blanket of fine crafted lyrics, powerful lead vocals and intricate harmonies. The duo's unique arrangements and memorable melodies will stay with you long after the night is over. They have opened for some of their heroes including Bruce Cockburn, Ani DiFranco and Pokey LaFarge and have released two full-length albums. Their third album, “Next To Me”, is available now.
Jenessa Kehler and Steve Dueck have been making music together for over a decade, blending warm vocals with blues, rock and folk guitar stylings. Jenessa and Steve share a love of folk and alternative rock, and Steve’s seasoned blues and rhythm combine with Jenessa’s fingerstyle and classical techniques to create a harmonious sound all their own. They are both songwriters and enjoy developing original material together as well as covering a wide variety of their favourite artists such as Tom Petty, Joni Mitchell, and Bob Dylan.
